Netbeans IDE Certification

This was an amazing month since I was eligible in Sun Certified Netbeans IDE, for free. I was introducing the exam in the campus academic forum (http://scele.cs.ui.ac.id/s1/mod/forum/discuss.php?d=12034), and amazingly, there was so many participant to this free exam. Erwin Nugraha Banyuaji, and also me, were the person who passed the exam very well.

Preparing the exam, I coordinate Sun Campus Club UI to held an event: “Netbeans Training”.

After that, we were attending the exam at Kuningan, South Jakarta, in 30th October 2008. That was an online exam. There were 60 multiple choice question that we must answer more than 61% correctly to get the certificate.

From the exam, I have an experience that Sun Microsystems Technology Certification is still required to the Information Technology Industry. This requirement may come from the company who used Sun Microsystems Technology as their main development framework.

But avalaibility of this certification exam has given another perspective from them. When I travel to the Kuningan, where the exam placed, I saw that there are so many Microsoft Certification exam, but on the other hand, our company certification was not too much as Microsoft did.
